One Thing I Wish God Would Say, If (S)he Exists
"Most of the things they say about me aren't true. Some of you have found how their accounts are corrupted by human culture and selfishness.
After eons of contemplating and pursuing what you would call "good", I have become benevolent, but I am neither omnipotent nor omniscient.
I am as shocked and frustrated and sad as you are. I, too, am in pain.
I am sorry for leaving the world for too long, for my presence was required elsewhere, where pain also thrived as the result of cosmic abuse of power.
I'll do what I can, but please understand there are powers beyond mine. I am not alone.
And in doing good, we must outrun the omniscient one, for he is not benevolent.
Will you take my hand?"
